Bloodwood Maurice, named after the father of modern Australian winemaking Maurice O'Shea, is Bloodwood's best of vintage red wine.
The wine's components vary year to year, though typically it is built on a base of Cabernet Sauvignon with Shiraz and small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. Just a handful of barrels comprise the final blend.
Deep crimson, Bloodwood Maurice has layered dark fruit and oak flavours with a long finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
