Ovitelli Blanc

Yangarra Estate Ovitelli Blanc is a blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Piquepoul and Bourboulenc, all handpicked from the estate vineyard in McLaren Vale.
Ovitelli Blanc is inspired by the textural white wines of the southern Rhône in France. Each component is carefully developed.
Portions of the Grenache Blanc and Roussanne are macerated on skins for 90-130 days. The other varieties are whole bunch basket pressed, with the lightest pressings kept separate from the free run juice to be considered for the final blend.
Gentle fermentation takes place in large ceramic eggs. The Clairette, Piquepoul and Bourboulenc is only sulphured once the skin contact portions have been pressed.
Deep straw yellow, Yangarra Estate Ovitelli Blanc is deeply textural with firm tannins, sea spray characters and a fresh finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
