Petit Lot La Violette

Windows Estate Petit Lot La Violette is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on the estate vineyard at Yallingup in Margaret River.

The fruit is sorted, crushed and destemmed, then inoculated for fermentation in 1,000 litre open fermenters. During the ferment, the juice receives regular manual plunging.

The wine is pressed from its skins using a traditional hand operated basket press, then racked to French oak barrels to mature.

Deep red, Windows Estate Petit Lot La Violette has dark berry characters, supple yet firm tannins and a rich, lingering finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
