The Easting Shiraz
Wine
Seppeltsfield The Easting Shiraz draws from the Barossa's eastern high country: the Eden Valley. It is grown at a single site near Springton amongst towering Eucalypts and rocky outcrops.
The wine is vinified in Seppeltsfield's historic 1888 Gravity Cellars, built into a hillside on a series of terraces. Gravity guides the fruit down through the winery, gently extracting colour, flavour and tannin.
Fermentation takes place in carefully monitored open fermenters. The wine then matures in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads.
Bright red, Seppeltsfield The Easting Shiraz is medium bodied with fleshy stone fruit flavours, savoury characters and a svelte tannin drive. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
