Wine
Best's Hamill Shiraz is made with fruit from the Sugarloaf Creek Vineyard, situated amongst the rolling hills surrounding Great Western's Black Range.
Individual rows of vines are hand harvested, the fruit kept in whole bunches. After fermentation on skins for up to 21 days, the wine spends 14 months maturing in French oak barrels.
Dark purple, Best's Hamill Shiraz has bright red fruit flavours, whole bunch spice and chewy tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
