Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Cullen Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is affectionally called ‘Junior Diana Madeline’ since it mostly draws from the same source, Cullen's old vine Cabernet planted in 1971.

As well as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, there are small amounts of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The fruit is picked on the fruit and flower days of the biodynamic calendar.

Following fermentation, the wine matures for eight months in oak barrels, one third new.

Mulberry purple, Cullen Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot has rich forest fruit flavours and dense, firm tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
