Hoddles Creek Estate Road Block Chardonnay draws from the estate Road Block: a cool, steep, terraced site on an easterly aspect where the vines only see the morning sun.

The wine is made in a different style to the other Hoddles Creek Chardonnays. The fruit picked earlier, then whole bunch pressed to tank where it settles overnight. The juice is then transferred to older barrels for fermentation.

Pale yellow, Hoddles Creek Estate Road Block Chardonnay has citrus flavours, subtle savoury character and a long, taut finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
