Narkoojee Valerie Chardonnay honours winery co-founder Valerie Friend. The Valerie label is reserved for small parcels of quality fruit, typically from Narkoojee's older vines.

After wild yeast fermentation, the wine matures in a mix of new and one year old French oak barrels. It receives lees stirring and undergoes partial malolactic fermentation.

Pale straw, Narkoojee Valerie Chardonnay has intense citrus and stone fruit flavours with a creamy texture, mineral acidity and length. Cellaring potential is five years.
