Alkoomi Melaleuca Riesling is grown on a single block of 1971 Riesling plantings – some of the winery's very first vines – and harvested in the early morning.

At the winery, the grapes are pressed to tank for freshness. Only the free run juice is used, and the wine spends time on lees to develop flavour. At bottling there is no fining.

Pale straw, Alkoomi Melaleuca Riesling is vibrant yet delicate with citrus flavours and a linear backbone. Cellaring potential is seven years.
