Vita Reserve Sangiovese

Coriole Vita Reserve Sangiovese is selected from the winery's best performing Sangiovese vineyard, often their 1985 plantings which pioneered the variety in Australia.

The Sangiovese fruit ripens in McLaren Vale's warm maritime climate. It is then handpicked and open fermented with plunging. For maturation the wine is transferred to neutral oak barrels.

The wine is only made in outstanding vintages. Only a small bottling is produced, the result of a blind barrel tasting to select the best parcel.

Deep red, Coriole Vita Reserve Sangiovese is medium bodied with red fruit flavours, earthy tones and savoury tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
