Wyjup Collection Pinot Noir

Plantagenet Wyjup Collection Pinot Noir is primarily made with fruit from the Bouverie and Crystal Brook Vineyards. An early morning harvest preserves the delicate flavours.

Most fruit parcels are gently destemmed to open fermenters without crushing, retaining a percentage of whole berries. One small parcel is fermented with all fruit kept as whole bunches, while another's juice is drained to ferment in new French oak.

The wine is pressed to tank and racked to new and seasoned French oak to age. The various elements are carefully blended prior to filtration and bottling.

Deep crimson, Plantagenet Wyjup Collection Pinot Noir has fleshy red fruit flavours, fine tannins and a smoky, flinty, earthy finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
