Kennedy Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre
Wine
Sons of Eden Kennedy Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre blends old vine fruit from across the Barossa, including Grenache from a low yielding site at Light Pass planted by the Kennedy family.
Each variety is hand harvested and fermented separately. To help extract colour, flavour and tannins, the parcels are fermented warm. The Grenache and Mourvèdre remain on skins for 10-20 days.
The parcels are then pressed to a mix of seasoned oak hogsheads and puncheons to age on full solids without racking. After natural clarification, the final blend is assembled and bottled.
Deep crimson, Sons of Eden Kennedy Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre has red fruit flavours, savoury undertones and a long, fresh finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
