Wine
Majella Merlot is sourced from the estate Quarry Block, located on the eastern edge of Coonawarra's famous terra rossa strip.
Fermentation is completed in 300 litre barrels, followed by a further 15 months of maturation in French oak. The wine is only made when the quality of the fruit allows.
Inky purple, Majella Merlot has rich, ripe dark berry flavours, smooth tannins and subtle oak. Cellaring potential is six years.
