Aphelion Aromat Grenache is sourced from a single vineyard at Blewitt Springs in McLaren Vale. The old bush vines, planted in the late 1930s, grow in sandy soils.

All the fruit is handpicked and destemmed with the whole berries remaining intact.

The wine is fermented until dry, then the free run portion is transferred to a single neutral French oak puncheon for nine months of maturation. It is then bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Vibrant red, Aphelion Aromat Grenache is light to medium bodied with bright red berry characters, spice and soft tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
