Yarra Valley Pinot Noir
Wine
The Wanderer Yarra Valley Pinot Noir is handpicked from a single site at Yellingbo in the Yarra Valley. It is a blend of two plots of vines within the same vineyard.
The fruit is destemmed and cold soaked. It is then fermented in hand plunged open fermenters with no added yeasts. The wine matures on lees in large format oak for around 12 months, then is bottled without fining or filtration.
Crimson red, The Wanderer Upper Yarra Valley Pinot Noir has bright red fruit flavours and fine, sandy tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
