Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay
Wine
Onannon Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay is typically sourced from several sites across the Mornington Peninsula, including vineyards at Tuerong and Red Hill.
After settling overnight, the juice is racked with solids to French oak barrels, a small proportion new. Fermentation takes place with a mix of yeasts to help build complexity. The wine then matures for around 10 months.
Pale straw, Onannon Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay is savoury and textured with stone fruit and citrus flavours. Cellaring potential is five years.
