High Eden Patriarch Shiraz
Wine
Mountadam High Eden Patriarch Shiraz honours winery founder David Wynn. It is sourced from the oldest estate plantings of Shiraz, perched at 500 metres altitude overlooking the Eden Valley.
Fermentation occurs with the cap of grape skins kept submerged. The juice is racked and returned daily for around 14 days, then rests with the skins submerged for a further six weeks. Once pressed, the wine is aged in new French oak for 20-24 months.
Crimson purple, Mountadam Patriarch High Eden Shiraz is medium bodied with intense dark berry flavours, supple tannins and a persistent finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
