Central Ranges Orange Riesling
Wine
Helm Wines Central Ranges Orange Riesling is typically sourced from an east facing vineyard with red basalt soils at Orange in the Central Ranges.
Similar to Murrumbateman – where the Helm home vineyard is located – Orange is a cool climate region. Situated at 700 metres elevation, it has slightly lower average temperatures and even occasionally snow in winter.
The fruit is handpicked and immediately delivered to the Helm winery in Murrumbateman. After cooling overnight, the grapes are processed in the early morning and cold fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Pale gold, Helm Wines Central Range Orange Riesling is clean and fresh, with soft ripe fruit underpinned by a refreshing acidity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
