Postmaster GSM
Wine
Fox Creek Postmaster GSM typically consists of 55% Grenache, 35% Shiraz and 10% Mourvèdre, all sourced from vineyards in McLaren Vale.
The Shiraz and Grenache are both sourced from old vines: the Shiraz planted in the 1940s and the Grenache in the 1930s and 1950s. The varieties mature separately in seasoned French and American oak barrels.
The Mourvèdre component matures in new and 1-2 year old French and American oak puncheons to tie the final blend together.
Cherry red, Fox Creek Postmaster GSM is medium bodied with bright fruit flavours, silky tannins and a persistent, focused finish. Cellaring potential is seven.
