De Bortoli Riverina Show Liqueur Muscat is grown at the estate vineyard in Riverina in south-west New South Wales. The grapes left on the vine until very ripe.
The fruit is crushed, partially fermented, and fortified on skins to further extract floral and aromatic characters from the grapes. The wine is then pressed off skins and sent to barrels for maturation.
Some barrels are stored long term, while the remainder are blended with a cache of older parcels to create a wine with an average age of eight years.
Nut brown, De Bortoli Riverina Show Liqueur Muscat is medium bodied, luscious and sweet with a lingering finish. Made for immediate enjoyment.
