Coriole Grenache is quintessentially McLaren Vale, sourced from three small estate vineyards of bush vine Grenache.

Traditional winemaking processes prevail at the winery. The fruit is open fermented with some whole bunch inclusion. Soft extraction techniques such as hand plunging are used to encourage gentle aromatics.

Maturation takes place over 11-14 months in French oak barrels. This wine represents the best two or three barrels, singled out for blending and bottling.

Ruby crimson, Coriole Grenache is medium bodied with intense red fruit flavours, fine grained tannins and a spicy finish. Cellaring potential is three years.
