Single Vineyard McDonalds Road Shiraz Viognier
Wine
Bimbadgen Single Vineyard McDonalds Road Shiraz Viognier draws from estate vines along McDonalds Road, overlooking a patchwork of Hunter Valley vineyards from Lovedale to Pokolbin.
Viognier fruit is pressed. The juice is drained away for another wine, leaving the skins to co-ferment with select parcels of Shiraz. During fermentation, the juice is gently pumped over twice daily.
The wine matures for 12 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Only select barrels are chosen for the final blend.
Bright purple, Bimbadgen Single Vineyard McDonalds Road Shiraz Viognier bursts with dark berry flavours framed by spice and subtle oak. Cellaring potential is five years.
