The Specialist Chardonnay

Thompson Estate The Specialist Chardonnay is made with fruit meticulously handpicked from the best estate blocks at Wilyabrup in Margaret River. Only the finest bunches of fruit are used.

The grapes are chilled overnight and gently pressed to tank. The juice is cold settled to brightness, then warmed and inoculated with a pure yeast culture. Fermentation is in new French oak barrels under temperature controlled conditions.

Each barrel is tasted, with only the best selected for blending. The wine is blended to tank, fined and stabilized prior to bottling.

Pale straw green, Thompson Estate The Specialist Chardonnay has persistent citrus and stone fruit characters, spicy oak and a seamless line of acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
