Autumnus Single Vineyard Shiraz

Sons of Eden Autumnus Single Vineyard Shiraz is made with exceptional parcels of fruit handpicked from a single site at Keyneton in the Eden Valley. Only exemplary harvests are bottled under the Autumnus label.

Most of the grapes are destemmed and crushed to a small open fermenter with around 25% added as whole bunches. They are chilled for one week before naturally warming to begin fermentation.

Once pressed the wine matures in new and seasoned French oak barrels for 24 months, without racking. It is naturally clarified, bottled without filtration and aged for a further two years before release.

Deep crimson, Sons of Eden Autumnus Single Vineyard Shiraz is concentrated and complex with layers of fruit and savoury spice. It finishes with chewy, textured tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
