Single Vineyard Family Reserve Chardonnay

Singlefile Single Vineyard Family Reserve Chardonnay is handpicked from a site at Denmark in Great Southern. The fruit is slow to ripen, allowing it to maintain its natural acidity while developing flavour.

The grapes are chilled overnight, whole bunch pressed and fermented in new and one year old French oak barrels. The wine matures for six months with weekly lees stirring, then is left to age further undisturbed. Partial malolactic fermentation builds texture.

Bright yellow, Singlefile Single Vineyard Family Reserve Chardonnay has mouth filling citrus and stone fruit flavours with creamy, nutty texture and lingering acidity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
