Reserve Margaret River Chardonnay

Mandoon Estate Reserve Margaret River Chardonnay is made with pristine parcels of fruit from the winery's low cropping vineyard at Karridale in southern Margaret River.

The grapes are handpicked once they reach the right flavour profile, then loaded by hand into the press. After whole bunch pressing, the unsettled juice is run directly to new and one year old French barrels.

Fermentation is with wild yeasts. During maturation, the lees are stirred to add complexity to the final wine.

Golden straw, Mandoon Estate Reserve Margaret River Chardonnay's subtle creamy texture and fine oak tannins are balanced by citrus acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
