Handpicked Wines Wombat Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir is grown in the Wombat Creek Vineyard on free draining volcanic loams at high elevation in the Upper Yarra Valley.

It is a single vineyard MV6 clone Pinot Noir. The grapes are chilled overnight before destemming and cold soaking for several days. Fermentation occurs in open fermenters with hand plunging twice daily.

The wine matures for 10 months in new and seasoned French oak. It is released only in the finest vintages.

Deep crimson, Handpicked Wines Wombat Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir has pure red fruit flavours, velvety tannins and a lasting finish. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
