Eldridge Estate Wendy Chardonnay is named in tribute to David's late wife and Eldridge Estate co-founder Wendy Lloyd, nicknamed the 'Queen of Chardonnay'.

This wine is a blend of estate grown Chardonnay Clones 95 and 96. It is made without destemming or crushing.

Whole bunches of handpicked fruit are pressed using an airbag press. The juice is transferred to French oak barrels for fermentation, a small proportion new.

Most barrels are inoculated for malolactic fermentation. Limited quantities are made.

Bright straw, Eldridge Estate Wendy Chardonnay has vibrant citrus flavours, clean acidity and finishes long. Cellaring potential is six years.
