Sorella Montepulciano
Wine
Catlin Sorella Montepulciano draws from a site at Kersbrook on the northern side of the Adelaide Hills. The vineyard is well suited to this late ripening Italian variety.
Minimal intervention techniques prevail at the winery. The grapes are picked in the cool early morning and fermented slowly. Part of the batch is given extended time on skins. Maturation is in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels.
Deep crimson, Catlin Sorella Montepulciano has lingering dark fruit flavours and a pronounced tannin structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
