Ballandean Estate Generation 3 Shiraz Cabernet, made only in the best vintages, is handpicked from the estate's oldest vines. The Shiraz was planted in 1968, the Cabernet in 1975.

Barrels of each variety are tasted for quality and only six are chosen to create the final blend. The exact ratio of Shiraz and Cabernet varies, since the blend is decided by taste. The blend then matures in new French oak barrels.

Dense purple, Ballandean Estate Generation 3 Shiraz Cabernet has a medium bodied, cool climate profile with dry berry flavours and supple tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
