Wine
Flametree Pinot Rosé is made with fruit handpicked from mature vines in the cool of the morning. It is grown in moisture retaining calc and clay soils in Margaret River.
The grapes are chilled overnight then placed in the press. They are allowed to rest for several hours.
The first cut of juice is pressed to a stainless steel tank for fermentation. The light pressings are sent to seasoned French oak to ferment with wild yeasts on the lees of white varieties such as Vermentino or Chardonnay.
The final blend is made up of the free run juice and a small percentage of the pressings fraction.
Pale salmon, Flametree Pinot Rosé is a savoury wine with red berry fruit flavours, soft chalky tannins and a dry finish. Perfect as an aperitif.
