Polish Hill River Riesling
Wine
Adelina Polish Hill River Riesling is grown at 460 metres elevation in grey brown loam soils. The site, planted in 2000, is located at Polish Hill River in the Clare Valley.
Handpicked in the cool of the morning, the fruit is destemmed, crushed and pressed. The free run juice is fractioned and settled, then fermented at cool temperatures with selected yeast until dry. The wine is clarified prior to bottling.
Pale yellow, Adelina Polish Hill River Riesling is clean and tight, with delicate citrus flavours, subtle spice and crisp mineral acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
