Wine
Cullen Kevin John Chardonnay is named in honour of the winery's co-founder Dr Kevin John Cullen. He believed Wilyabrup capable of producing Chardonnay that could rival some of France's best.
Kevin and Diana Cullen planted their Chardonnay vines in 1976, from cuttings obtained in 1967. Today they grow with later plantings in a certified biodynamic, carbon neutral and solar powered vineyard.
The handpicked fruit is whole bunch pressed. The juice wild ferments in a combination of French oak, amphorae and ceramic eggs. After natural malolactic fermentation it matures for five months in French oak.
Bright light gold, Cullen Kevin John Chardonnay is rich with tropical fruit flavours. It has purity, elegance and an arresting acid backbone.
A standout Margaret River Chardonnay. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
