Wine
Cullen Diana Madeline Cabernet is named in honour of the winery's co-founder Diana Madeline Cullen. It is Cabernet Sauvignon blended with small amounts of Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
The fruit is grown in the certified biodynamic, carbon neutral and solar powered Cullen Vineyard at Wilyabrup. It is hand harvested upon reaching optimum ripeness, flavour profile and acid balance.
Primary fermentation takes place over two weeks with natural yeasts, followed by maceration on skins. The wine matures for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels.
Bright deep purple, Cullen Diana Madeline Cabernet is elegant and poised with dark berry flavours and silky tannins.
An outstanding Margaret River Cabernet. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
