Red Hill Estate Merricks Grove Chardonnay is sourced from the winery's Merricks Grove Vineyard, situated on the south-eastern hills of the Mornington Peninsula.

The grapes are gently pressed. After cold settling overnight, the juice is racked to barrel with some solids for fermentation. A mix of natural and inoculated yeasts are used. The wine then matures for 15 months, including several months of lees stirring.

Pale straw, Red Hill Estate Merricks Grove Chardonnay has rich, ripe fruit flavours with toasty oak and mineral acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
