Block 1 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Hay Shed Hill Block 1 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from some of the oldest vines of their type in Margaret River, grown on a steep gravelly slope of the Wilyabrup Valley.

The blend typically comprises two thirds Semillon and one third Sauvignon Blanc. Only the best free run juice is taken to retain bright fruit expression.

Fermentation occurs in seasoned French oak barrels, building texture without oak flavour dominating the taste. The wine is then matured in barrel for eight months before clarification and bottling.

Pale straw, Hay Shed Hill Block 1 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc has fresh, lively fruit flavours given dimension by texture and a dry finish. Cellaring potential is three years.
