Alkoomi Black Label Shiraz is made with fruit from across the winery's Frankland River vineyard. It is primarily Shiraz with a small portion of Viognier.

The Viognier's free run juice is pressed off, then the remaining skins are added to the Shiraz for co-fermentation. The final wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels before bottling.

Rich magenta, Alkoomi Black Label Shiraz is medium bodied with fruity textures, layers of spice and sugary tannins. Cellaring potential is eight years.
