Vanya Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine
Cullen Vanya Cabernet Sauvignon is made from the oldest vines in the Cullen Vineyard at Wilyabrup in Margaret River. A very limited production wine.
The fruit is handpicked with harvesting determined by the biodynamic calendar. Both primary and malolactic fermentation occur naturally. The wine spends 15 weeks in 300 litre terracotta amphorae.
It is then basket pressed directly to two thirds new French oak barrels to mature for six months. It is made with minimal intervention. There are no additions of yeast or acid, nor any fining.
Bright red purple, Cullen Vanya Cabernet Sauvignon has subtle power, refined tannins and defining elegance. Cellaring potential is 25 years.
