Fox Creek Limited Release Grenache is handpicked from old bush vines planted in 1921 on the loamy soils of McMurtrie Road in McLaren Vale.

To add layers of complexity, some of the fruit is placed at the bottom of the fermenter as whole bunches while the rest is crushed on top. The ferment is hand plunged twice daily for nine days.

The wine is pressed and racked to complete fermentation in seasoned 500 litre puncheons. This minimizes the oak impact but still allows maturation to occur. Only the best barrels are selected for blending.

Bright cherry red, Fox Creek Limited Release is fresh and balanced, with red berry flavours and focused acidity encased in elegant tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
