Huon Valley Pinot Noir

Chatto Huon Valley Pinot Noir is sourced from a vineyard near Glaziers Bay in the Huon Valley in southern Tasmania. It has well drained soils of limestone scattered with fossils.
The grapes, mostly destemmed with some whole bunches, are cold soaked for eight days. Wild yeast fermentation in an open tank follows. After pressing to French oak, the wine is matured for 10 months.
Bright dark crimson, Chatto Huon Valley Pinot Noir is intensely aromatic with vibrant berry flavours and fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
