A&W Riesling
Wine
Castle Rock Estate A&W Riesling is named in honour of winery founders Angelo and Wendy Diletti. It is grown on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountain.
The grapes are gravity fed at every stage of the winemaking – not pumped. This reduces contact with the skins and seeds, preserving pure varietal characters in the juice.
This wine is made to highlight the quality of estate grown Riesling. The fruit is hand harvested and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation occurs with some solids, then the wine is left on lees for two months.
Pale straw, Castle Rock Estate A&W Riesling's citrus flavours run the length of the palate with bold natural acidity and a focused structure. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
