Wine

Moorooduc Estate Robinson Vineyard Chardonnay is made with handpicked fruit from Hugh and Isobel Robinson's vineyard in Moorooduc, planted to Dijon 95 and 96 Chardonnay clones.

Whole bunches are fed into a gravity press. Designed for sparkling wine it separates the juice from the skins, pips and stems. The cloudy juice is sent to one quarter new French oak barrels to ferment naturally.

The wine undergoes full natural malolactic fermentation and 10 months of maturation in barrel on lees. It is racked once prior to bottling with light fining and filtration.

Pale lemon, Moorooduc Estate Robinson Vineyard Chardonnay has fresh crisp acidity, sea spray hints and a long, tangy citrus finish. Cellaring potential is five years.
