2013 Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz

Vintage reviews

Shouts out Western Barossa. This Shiraz, spawn out of the new Millennium, has quickly established its own following – it's not a mini St Henri or junior RWT.

It is Bin 150 Shiraz, from Marananga.

Maturation in 500-litre puncheons is starting to make its desired stylistic Bin 150 point-of-difference…

91/100

Deep garnet-purple, the 2013 Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz is unashamedly forward with fragrant notes of warm berries, fruits of forest compote, violets and anise plus touches of cloves and mocha.

Medium to full-bodied, it bursts with spicy blackberry preserves flavors in the mouth, supported by firm, rounded tannins and a lively acid backbone, finishing with great persistence.
