2013 Bin 169 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage reviews

Takes no prisoners, at this stage …

100% new oak not at all intimidating in this fourth Bin 169 release …

Not overtly varietal, yet. Watch this space.

Matured for 16 months in 100% new French oak hogsheads, the 2013 Bin 169 Cabernet Sauvignon from Coonawarra gives a deep garnet-purple color and intense notes of eucalyptus, crème de cassis, cloves and violets.

Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and with great freshness, while it gets an A+ for exuberance the flavors are a little limited in terms of spectrum. It finishes long and pure.
