2010 Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon

Vintage reviews

'This 2010 will give any Bin 707 vintage back to 1964 a run for its money' – an unofficial quip, mid-tasting, naturally to be denied publicly!

Bin 707 unofficially re-defined in 2010: Gloss and sheen ('sparkle'), yet with depth and structure ('substance')… what more could be asked for?!

95+/100

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2010 Bin 707 Cabernet Sauvignon is an earthier style displaying classic aromas of cassis, plum and pencil shavings with some earth, olives, spice box and cloves.

Very structured by firm, grainy tannins, it is concentrated and muscular with good acid freshness through the long and layered finish.

It needs 1–2 years more of aging and will drink to 2030+.
