1957 Grange

Vintage reviews

The 1957 Grange is extremely rare. It is a curio and valuable collector's item. The first of the three 'hidden Granges'; the wine was made without the knowledge of Penfolds management who had ordered Max Schubert to cease production.

Sourced from the Magill Estate (Adelaide), Morphett Vale (Adelaide) and McLaren Vale. 88% Shiraz, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Matured in the previous year's Grange barrels.
