In 1992 Terry and Rosemary Bennett established Home Hill in the Huon Valley south of Hobart. From humble beginnings as a hobby farm with six rows of vines, Home Hill has grown to be a leading producer of Pinot Noir.
The vineyard’s grey loam, high clay soil and reliable rainfall provide excellent growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyard sits at the same degree of latitude as Bordeaux in France (albeit south of the equator rather than north). They share a similar climate, which makes for the slow ripening of fruit during the warmer months, the perfect conditions for cool climate wine to be produced.
Home Hill's Kelly's Reserve Pinot Noir is the lead wine. Their Estate Pinot Noir follows closely behind. The Kelly's Reserve Chardonnay and Landslide Pinot Noir represent quality at affordable prices.
