Bekkers

A small family wine company established in McLaren Vale in 2010, Bekkers is the winemaking project of viticulturist Toby Bekkers and his French born wife and winemaker Emmanuelle.

Bekkers wines are made with exceptional attention to detail in the vineyard. The primary objective of the winemaking is to tell the story of McLaren Vale as a fine wine region. They source grapes from vineyards across the region blending wine from different sites to produce each of their three reds: a straight Grenache, a Shiraz (labelled Syrah), and a blend of the two varieties.

With an accent on finesse and fine texture, Bekkers strive to push the limits of what is possible for McLaren Vale wine. Made in tiny quantities, production is reserved for their allocation list.
