Pike & Joyce

In 1998 Adelaide Hills horticulturalists the Joyce family teamed up with the Pike family, long established in viticulture and winemaking. Pike & Joyce is the partnership between these two historic South Australian families.

The Pike & Joyce vineyard, with spectacular Adelaide Hills views, is a converted orchard at the Joyce family's Lenswood property. Its steep north and east facing slopes, gravelly clay and loam soils, and cool climate are ideal for varieties including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. After picking, the fruit is chilled overnight in the Joyce cool rooms, before being transported to Pike's Clare Valley winery for vinification.

Pike & Joyce The Kay Reserve Chardonnay and W.J.J. Reserve Pinot Noir are the stand outs, with other highlights including the Buerre Bosc Pinot Gris and Descente Sauvignon Blanc.
