McLaren Vale Grenache

Bekkers McLaren Vale Grenache is sourced from an old, dry grown McLaren Vale vineyard, supplemented with a 1930s bush vine parcel of Blewitt Springs fruit.

The grapes are destemmed for wild fermentation, with a portion added as whole bunches. Basket pressed to French oak puncheons, the wine matures on fine lees before racking and bottling without filtration.

Deep crimson, Bekkers McLaren Vale Grenache is medium bodied with red fruit flavours and a long, soft, silky texture. Cellaring potential is seven years.
